My heart goes out to Chuck’s family and loved ones. ❤ He was beyond extraordinary – when I met him the first time it was like seeing an old friend again after some time had passed.

I am grateful I made it to the hospital 2 hours before he transformed into Spirit form – on the way to see him I called the hospital and spoke to his nurse to find out how he was. She said he didn’t have much time. I asked her to let him know I was on my way. I got so flustered by what the nurse had just told me that I took a wrong turn – and noticed the license plate of the car in front of me said “Mc????Fam” – I took that as a sign I was exactly where I was supposed to be and deeply clear that the Lord is leading my way. When I arrived at the room number I was told he was in I looked inside and thought “Wrong room” & turned around and walked a couple steps when I suddenly realized that it was the right room. Chuck was surrounded by all his loved ones. I entered the room and looked into the eyes of all his loved ones. I melted…..I met his beautiful family. We shared stories, I acknowledged Chuck for the extraordinary man he is and the profound difference he had made to so many people with his life, then we sang ‘Amazing Grace’ and Chuck hummed along…..I told him I loved him and we all lifted him up to the Lord.
I then met up with Lisa Gold after my visit with Chuck and Rocket Man started playing on the boom box as we sat outside and a jet plane was zooming high straight above our heads with a trail of clouds behind it. I pointed up and instead of looking like a jet it looked like a body of person. I said “That is Chuck! He is soaring into the Heavens!” and about an hour later Joe Kramer called to let us know he had passed away.

He is among the Heavens and will be missed terribly till we are reunited again. ????❤????❤

Chuck McCann, the goofy, good-natured comedian and TV host who was a hero to kids of all ages in and around New York City in the 1960s before he jumped into films, network television and commercials, has died. He was 83.
