The first thing you notice when you meet Cali is her eyes — intense instruments that pull you right into her personal orbit. There is no escape. She is a boundless person who lets you know she has much to share with you — and the entire world. And she will do so as long as you know her.
First, and foremost, she is an Artist, with a capital A. As an actress, painter, producer, fashion model, she is on a roll; having won the title this year as Ms. North Hollywood Elite competing among a formidable group of stunning contestants.
When the final round of questions were chosen by each finalist, Cali knew hers was Heaven sent: “What skills do you have that will help transform your community?” An impressive list of skills beyond what is mentioned above just rolled off her tongue. She shares about a tv commercial from her youth that generated a deep sense of concern for our environment, and has been recycling ever since. Her experience with the power of media first hand and how it transforms our communities.
Cali is committed to implementing her skills in the media to assist in revolutionizing the way the world works. She intends to focus on transforming the way food is distributed to the masses and teaching children of all ages about emotional intelligence.
As an actress, she has studied many techniques with Chekhov & Gallardo being her faves – delving into the depths of her emotions, and the Alexander method for freedom of movement.
She was born to play an extensive range of roles from the femme fatale, the sensual seductress, the sweet mom, the lost soul, not to mention the neurotic wife. The role has not been written that could contain her talents.
This year, Cali stars in the film, ‘Origin: The Beauty of Life’ an official selection by the 8th Annual La Jolla Fashion Film Festival, and nominated for 3 academy award qualifying awards. She also stars in a pilot series, ‘Three Orbs of Light’, created by her, Philip Kim Marra, and Rachel Bailit.
She has signed on to be a Professor Emeritus at C & S Media Institute in Hollywood to teach producing with lectures in China in 2018. Another position she holds is Exec. Asst. to the President of Hollywood China International Studios in production on a TV series, ‘Gone With The Ocean’ – with an acting role that shines a light on her Irish heritage.
Cali has starred in a series of films and TV with impressive talents, including Emmy Award winner, Ed Asner, in ‘The Sand Castle’, Emmy Award winner, Bryan Cranston, and Jim Troesh, in ‘The Hollywood Quad’, and has appeared in films starring George Takei, Debra Messing, Ben Stiller, Academy Award winners, Tom Hanks and Leonardo DiCaprio. A highlight and an honor for Cali was being on set with Steven Spielberg in ‘Catch Me If You Can.’
Cali’s goal is to headline in films with these directors at the helm: Steven Spielberg, Denis Villeneuve, Ron Howard, Martin Scorsese and Luc Besson. . .just to name a few.
