The movie, AUNTIE MAME was recommended to me by my dearly beloved friend, Celebrity Stylist, Rudolfo David. He lived his life the way Auntie Mame did in the movie, and he passed away August 1, 2019. When he asked me to create a Birthday invitation for him with Auntie Mame in mind – I had no idea who Auntie Mame was. So that night I went home and watched this incredibly delightful escapade! As an actress I was wowed by Rosalind Russell’s delicious character, and as an artist was thoroughly impressed with the attention to detail the designers had creating this world of characters and locations. I read somewhere that the Writer, Patrick Dennis, had an aunt, who he wrote about in this tale.
Hilarious & immensely heartfelt – this movie delves deep into the meaning of living a life you love. How being inclusive most often than not, adds some zesty spice to one’s life and the occasion when being exclusive can cause hurt, contention, and problems all around.
